About Dr Ferenz
Dr. Gregory Ferenz, DO, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centered approaches to neurological care. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in general neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and epilepsy; as well as from the American Board of Clinical Neurophysiology. He is a Fellow of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society and maintains local and national professional affiliations, including memberships in the American Academy of Neurology, Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons of Oregon, and Oregon Medical Association.
Dr. Ferenz earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and completed his medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He conducted both his residency and fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where he was recognized as resident teacher of the year for two consecutive years.
In 2013, Dr. Ferenz relocated with his wife to Bend, Oregon to establish his general neurology practice. In 2021, he redirected his professional focus to memory and dementia care, identifying this as an area of significant need within the central Oregon community. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys time with his family, exploring the region's natural amenities, and serving as a volunteer with the Greater Rotary Club of Bend.
